Hello, dear reader!
So, it's little me again - coming through with my promises as always. I upheld my end of the bargain today which was an offer to share my thoughts in the blog.

Old News
Hello, dear reader!
It’s good to talk.
And, if you read that in the voice of Bob Hoskins, then that means you are at least as old as I am.
Which segues nicely to the theme of this week’s offering.

Let's Get Physical!
Hello, dear reader!
Never look a gift horse in the mouth, they say.
And so, when an opportunity presented itself to me to get some of the exercise I’ve been so drastically needing for quite some time in a structured and measured way, I was hardly in a position to turn it down now, was I? No, the chance had to be seized, no matter how unlikely that chance might sound.
You see, I’ve joined a gym!

On Track
Hello, dear reader!
There’s a lot to be said for taking a break from the old routine.
And this week there’s been not one break, but two to report on!

Making Hay
Hello, dear reader!
Hot enough for you?
Yes, the U.K. is, as we speak, melting into a small puddle thanks to a semi-seasonal heatwave.
From a personal point of view, this has both its negatives and its positives and, if you’ll bear with me, I’ll run through those with you right now.

Brand New Day
Hello, dear reader!
Exciting times are upon us!
Yes, after what has seemed an endless wait, the day has finally arrived. It’s like Xmas and a birthday and possibly a Shrove Tuesday all wrapped up in one sparkly and pancake-free package.
Because tomorrow I pick up my new wheelchair!

World (Cup) Affairs
Hello, dear reader!
And welcome to what promises to be a very crowded month of doing not an awful lot
Why? You ask. Didn’t you just mention a firm writing schedule in your last post?
Well, yes, and in fairness, that is still operational. What I’m talking about is the rest. The downtime. The telly and the reading and the playing of computer games.
Because, tomorrow, The World Cup kicks off.

Offline
Hello, dear reader!
Yes, after an enforced week off, due to technical difficulties (a slightly broken laptop) I’m back! And, if you ask me, it’s not a moment too soon.
So, did you miss me?
So, did you miss me?
No? Well, that’s rude.

Desperately Seeking Mabel
Hello, dear reader!
Today I will not be mentioning the book I recently (self-published).
Well, from now on, anyway.
No, today I want to focus on a different arrival. One that coincided nicely with the aforementioned event, and was, in fact, somewhat caused by it.
Today I’d like to talk about Mabel.

Epilogue
Hello, dear reader!
And so ends my first week as a (self) published author.
Yes, after the initial rush of endorphins caused by last Monday’s (that’s the Monday of last week, or the 4th, not the one just gone, to avoid any confusion) momentous moment, life has settled down somewhat.

Countdowns & Kittens
Hello, dear reader!
And sorry for the short delay in this week’s offering.
This was due to a confluence of two separate, although not entirely unconnected events.
Allow me to explain.

By The Book
Hello, dear reader!
And, after another entertaining and informative offering from my wunderwifey, Tina, it’s over to me (Mark) again.
Because, this week, I have something to write about that’s equally, if not more, amazing. This week I’m writing to you about writing, or at least, the aftermath of writing.
This week, I’m writing as a (self) published author of my very own novel.

A Stairway To Casualty
Hello, dear reader!
Sometimes, when deciding what to write for this blog, we work out who has had the most interesting week or weekend. Unfortunately, I have had a very dramatic weekend, so you've got the wonderwifey to chat to you this week.

Packed It, Booked It…
Hello, dear reader!
And welcome to a lovely and very sunny day in West Yorkshire.
Yes, it appears that spring has well and truly sprung (at least for now). The sky is blue, the breeze is cool, and all is right with the world.
Well, apart from on a couple of fronts.

Settle Down
Hello, dear readers
Quite often, Mark will ask me to do the blog because he's not too well, but this time …. I volunteered, because I've had an exciting week (well more exciting than Mark’s anyway).

Home & Away
Hello, dear readers
You join me on a sad day. A tragic day. My heart is broken. I don’t know how, or even if, I’ll survive.
You see Tina, the love of my life and my super-spiffy wúnderieifey is leaving me.
For two whole days!

Cover Story
Hello, dear readers
And welcome to what promises to be a relatively busy week in a relatively busy month.
March is always a busy one, to be fair. There are certain milestones within it, certain immovable feasts (plus one that’s strangely fluid, thanks to relying on religious dating). This year that is something that has been expanded upon by circumstance.
I’ll explain.

And Be Damned!
Hello, dear readers
There comes in every venture, every life, a handful of moments that hold the seed of real and lasting change.
I think this week has seen one such instance, because it’s happening; it’s really and truly happening!
Before we get on to that mysterious ‘it’ I’ll take the opportunity to put down in black and white my progress with my stated aims for the year.

Over Sight
Hello, dear readers
It's me again - the direct result of a promise made when Mark was being extra nice to me over the weekend.
Joking aside, I have had a slightly interesting week, apparently much more interesting than my ever amazing husband.
