Cooking On Gas

 Hello dear readers!

Yesterday I cooked.

In fact the day before yesterday I cooked as well, because, drum roll please.... we finally have a working kitchen!

Yes, a mere five weeks after moving into our new home it is now possible to prepare and actually cook food, utilising our brand spanking new oven, and our brand spanking new hob. This is something that fills me with more excitement than a healthy, well balanced man should feel over kitchen appliances, and it's also highlighted something else as well.

None Fall Down

Hello dear readers!

It would seem the sporting life is not for me.

This has been something that I have long suspected but which was finally confirmed to me last night... at a church gathering.

Allow me to explain.

Lest We Forget

Hello Dear readers!

Well these are interesting times!

Not that that is necessarily a good thing, mind you. In fact the Chinese are purported to have a curse that translates as 'May you live in Interesting Times", and although I wouldn't for one second like to lay any blame at that venerable civilisation's feet, I fear it may just be coming true.

Here's why.

Proper Job

Hello dear readers!

Unemployment is starting to get just a little old.

At first sight it may seem like having all day to do as much or as little as one wants to do is some kind of utopian ideal, but it would appear that a mere fourteen days in, that illusion is already wavering somewhat.

Yes folks, I need a job. The question is... Which job?

It Never Rains, But It Pours

Hello dear readers!

Well, we're in!

Yes, after what seems like a lifetime, we are actually, properly living in our new home. It may be unfinished, it may have a slight air of an abandoned building site, it may still smell slightly of paint but it's ours, and, thanks to the hard work of family and friends and  a few sticks of furniture... It's habitable.

It's a welcome bit of news in what has been a rough couple of weeks.

Make Do And Mend

Hello dear readers!

I'm Baaa-aaack.

Yes, it would seem that rumours of my demise have indeed proven to be greatly exaggerated and, after a three week and one day hiatus, The Seated Perspective show is firmly back on the road and apparently... attracting admirers (Thank you Bethany).

So, what's been going on in the last 22 days, you ask? Well quite a lot actually.

Changing Rooms

Hello Dear Readers!

Whisper it, but the tide may just be turning.

Followers of these inane rambling will know what I mean when I say that things have been rather... interesting... at the Seated perspective Household of late.

The last week however, whilst no less interesting, has been one heck of a lot more positive. Here's why.
