Hello, dear readers!
This one took far too much thought.
Yeah, I know. A surfeit of thought is not something I’m regularly accused of, and quite rightly so. This particular blog entry, however was one that had me searching high and low (mainly low) for inspiration.
It’s not like the last week has been all that eventful, you see. Nothing much has happened. Yes, there was a rather nice coffee out with the folks, but that’s about the crux of it. Apart from that, it’s been all quiet on the Western Front (possibly the Eastern, Northern, and Southern Fronts, too.
So, let’s discuss something that’s going to be happening.

A long Walk
Hello, dear readers!
Did you ever have one of those days?
You know the ones. They seem to start okay but, bit by bit, that sheen starts to wear off as small niggles raise their heads. It’s the kind of thing that, if you’re nor careful, can snowball, as mood and inconveniences start to reinforce each other. The kind of thing that can ruin a day.
So let’s nip it in the bud, shall we? Positive thoughts. Positive actions. Om, and all that kind of stuff.
As for the pebble that’s threatening to launch this potential avalanche, well that’s the small (and I do mean small) matter of the charger for my fit watch going missing.

Rim Shot
Hello, dear readers!
Did you miss me?
If you say no, I won’t be offended in the slightest, because, in my absence, greatness was achieved.
In case you didn’t catch it, my ever-amazing wife, Tina took over writing duties on last week’s blog post. She took the opportunity to talk about her experiences with mental health, and did so with an honesty, clarity and courage I find incredible. I’ll post a link back to it here.
However, as much as I’m sure you would love to hear more from Tina, for now, at least it’s going to be a return to the old routine. Yes, I’m afraid this week you’re stuck with yours truly, as I ramble on about life and stuff and things in an attempt to entertain and to enthral (Yeah, I didn’t think it was working, either).

Through The Rain
Hello, dear readers!
And now for something completely different.
No, not Monty Python.
You may notice a change in the blog this week, however, because today (my birthday), I’m taking the day off and handing the reins over to Tina, the wonderful woman who I am lucky enough to share my life with.
And it’s not just the birthday thing. Tina has wanted to find the right time and the right space to share a few things for a while now. So, without further ado, here she is.Every thing from here on here is Tina. Her story, her words.

Cap And Gown
Hello, dear readers!
Been a while, hasn’t it.
Yes, once again, my somewhat spotty record when it comes to consistency and scheduling has reared its ugly head. And it’s not as if last week’s sadly (sadly?) missing post wasn’t something that was always going to happen (since March of this year at the very, very latest, anyway).
No, the failing was mine. Perhaps I should have written ahead (although that might have impacted on the currentness of the affairs discussed). Maybe I should have taken my laptop to London and done a spot of writing on the go. At the very least I should have added a few lines to my previous offering detailing the upcoming omission.
Oh, and, just in case you hadn’t worked it out, last week’s post was a no-show because I spent the majority of said week in London.
