Christmas Past

Hello dear readers...

And a belated merry Xmas to you all.

Were you good boys and girls? Did Santa bring you everything you asked for?  Personally I could not have wished for a better festive period, or a more action packed one to be honest. Here's why.

Kitten Heels

Hello dear readers!

Well the cat is well and truly out of the bag.

More accurately, the kittens are out of the bag. Even more accurately, they're out of the cat.

Yes that's right, the Seated Perspective household is once again home to the sound of tiny paws (or will be when the little blighters find their feet). This is of course a wonderful, happy, event, but one that can lead to some interesting times... Especially for a wheelchair user.

Interview With The Seated Person

Hello dear readers!

You can't keep a good man down.

It seems the same would go for me (Goodness not included as standard: your mileage may vary depending on conditions) and in fact this week has seen me rise from the ashes of recent months like the proverbial phoenix, tail feathers only ever so slightly charred.

That's right dear readers, I've only gone and got myself a job!

Nine And A Half Months

Hello dear readers!

They say your memory can play tricks on you. I think they could be right.

Skipping over, for a moment, the question of who exactly 'they' are and why 'they' are such authorities on the human mind and, well, just about anything else you can possibly think of; I know for a fact that my own memory can, and in fact does, do me a disservice from time to time, not always to my detriment.

This was highlighted by a recent and perhaps slightly peculiar round of reminiscing.

Cooking On Gas

 Hello dear readers!

Yesterday I cooked.

In fact the day before yesterday I cooked as well, because, drum roll please.... we finally have a working kitchen!

Yes, a mere five weeks after moving into our new home it is now possible to prepare and actually cook food, utilising our brand spanking new oven, and our brand spanking new hob. This is something that fills me with more excitement than a healthy, well balanced man should feel over kitchen appliances, and it's also highlighted something else as well.

None Fall Down

Hello dear readers!

It would seem the sporting life is not for me.

This has been something that I have long suspected but which was finally confirmed to me last night... at a church gathering.

Allow me to explain.

Lest We Forget

Hello Dear readers!

Well these are interesting times!

Not that that is necessarily a good thing, mind you. In fact the Chinese are purported to have a curse that translates as 'May you live in Interesting Times", and although I wouldn't for one second like to lay any blame at that venerable civilisation's feet, I fear it may just be coming true.

Here's why.
